Active Temperature-Controlled Containers
Zenith Eclipse coordinates active-container options for shipments requiring powered temperature control. Equipment selection considers the payload, product limits, route and available handling support, with the container provider, carrier and receiving party aligned before equipment is committed.
Scope and responsibilities
Service scope and requirements
A container setpoint does not establish the product's temperature history. Qualification, route suitability and monitoring requirements are reviewed separately.
| Scope item | Requirement or agreed coverage |
|---|---|
| Approved conditions | Product-specific transport limits and any sensitivity to freezing or heat. |
| Payload fit | Pallet or package dimensions, weight and the equipment's accepted loading arrangement. |
| Equipment evidence | Model, qualification information, service condition and provider instructions. |
| Route acceptance | Carrier and station capability for the selected container and planned transfers. |
| Energy support | Charging or power responsibilities, operating coverage and agreed contingency contacts. |
| Data requirements | Equipment records and any independent product-monitoring devices specified separately. |
| Handover checks | Condition, settings, available operating time and acceptance evidence at agreed stages. |
| Lease closure | Destination unloading window, return location and equipment-return responsibilities. |
Best-fit requirements
When to use this service
Suitable for eligible high-value or sensitive cargo where the selected active equipment and route support meet the product owner's transport plan.
Execution and deliverables
How the work is coordinated
We coordinate booking, equipment positioning and handoff instructions with the nominated providers. Escalation contacts and fallback arrangements are agreed for missed connections or equipment concerns. Changes to setpoints or product disposition require the assigned authority; the coordination service does not independently release affected goods.
Prepare your enquiry
Send the approved range, payload layout, shipment value where relevant, lane, timing and container preference. State monitoring, document and return requirements. Rental days, station support and final equipment availability are confirmed in the quotation rather than assumed from a standard freight rate.
