These pages explain website information and business standards. They do not replace an accepted quotation, signed contract or applicable transport document. Transaction terms and mandatory law govern the relevant rights and obligations; nothing here removes a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Verify before transferring
Check the beneficiary's legal name, bank, account, currency, amount and transaction reference against your agreed documents. Confirm instructions through a trusted contact already known to you. An invoice, familiar display name, company logo or existing email thread alone does not prove that a payment request is genuine.
Changes require a separate check
Treat new or changed bank details as unverified until independently confirmed. Call an established number from your records rather than one supplied in the change message. Apply your organization's approval controls and preserve the verification record before releasing funds, even where a request appears urgent.
Recognize suspicious requests
Watch for lookalike domains, unusual beneficiaries, personal accounts, secrecy, unexpected attachments and pressure to bypass verification. Do not share passwords, one-time codes or banking credentials. Our public enquiry forms and voice assistant are not channels for collecting those details.
If you suspect fraud
Contact your bank immediately if money has been sent and ask about available hold or recall steps. Preserve messages and payment records, notify us through a verified channel and contact the relevant authorities where appropriate. Recovery depends on the circumstances and cannot be guaranteed.
