Breakbulk Project Cargo Transport
Zenith Eclipse plans breakbulk transport for project units handled individually instead of inside a standard container. Each lifting, landing, storage and handover step is assigned against a controlled cargo list, with the terminal and vessel arrangements reviewed together.
Scope and responsibilities
Service scope and requirements
The scope is agreed by cargo unit and handling stage. A freight indication alone does not confirm a lifting method or terminal acceptance.
| Scope item | Requirement or agreed coverage |
|---|---|
| Unit register | Piece marks, transport dimensions, verified weights and current packing drawings. |
| Handling method | Proposed lifts or other transfers and the party approving each operation. |
| Lifting data | Centre of gravity, rated lifting points and any manufacturer handling restrictions. |
| Landing and storage | Support footprint, dunnage requirements and permitted interim storage conditions. |
| Vessel interface | Cargo space, access, lifting responsibility and stowage proposal for acceptance. |
| Cargo protection | Weather sensitivity, protective packing, orientation and inspection requirements. |
| Sequence control | Loading priorities, discharge order and destination receiving dependencies. |
| Commercial boundary | Included terminal operations, surveys, waiting exposure and final handover point. |
Best-fit requirements
When to use this service
Used for industrial assemblies, structural components, crated machinery and equipment whose dimensions or handling arrangement make conventional breakbulk movement appropriate.
Execution and deliverables
How the work is coordinated
The coordination file links each unit to the approved handling and transport stages. A pre-shipment review identifies missing cargo data and site dependencies. Condition records are collected at agreed handoffs; carrier and terminal approvals, specialist supervision and any survey attendance are identified separately in the proposal.
Prepare your enquiry
Provide the marked cargo list, drawings, weights, packing condition, ports or addresses and delivery sequence. State weather-protection needs and who provides lifting equipment at each end. Prices depend on the accepted handling scope and actual vessel availability.
