Chemistry-Declared Rapeseed Supplier | Bulk Supply
Chemistry-declared rapeseed is quoted with the analytical results requested by the buyer. Zenith Eclipse keeps the measured composition, intended processing use and any identity claim separate, allowing processors to assess each offered lot.
Quality parameters
Technical specifications
Illustrative RFQ targets, subject to lot availability and buyer approval. These are not a stock COA or a universal grade. State the material, reporting basis, sampling and test method for each result; final acceptance limits belong in the contract. A COA reports the tested sample. Agree acceptance limits and lot representativeness before treating any reported value as a purchase guarantee.
| Parameter | Indicative RFQ target |
|---|---|
| Identity | Rapeseed; no canola designation without separate verification |
| Oil content | Report percentage with moisture basis and extraction method |
| Moisture | 9.0% maximum; state the inspection and sampling point |
| Erucic acid | Report C22:1 as a percentage of total oil fatty acids |
| Glucosinolates | Individual analytes and agreed sum in µmol/g; material and moisture basis stated |
| Protein when required | Report percentage, nitrogen factor and moisture basis |
| Dockage / damage | 2.0% dockage target; separate damage limits and methods agreed |
| Analytical traceability | Laboratory, method, sample date, lot code and uncertainty where relevant |
| Acceptance rule | Agreed limits, rounding, retest procedure and result finality |
Applications
Common uses
Chemistry-declared lots support crusher evaluation, oil blending plans and co-product assessment. The buyer decides suitability against its process and destination specification. Buying detail: Ask for the original analytical report with units and sample preparation. Compare results only after aligning the tested material and moisture basis; an oil fatty-acid percentage cannot be compared directly with a whole-seed concentration.
Export planning
Shipping & logistics
Keep each analysed lot identifiable in lined containers, seed-tight bulk equipment or coded bags, subject to availability. Agree re-sampling rules if consolidation, blending or transfer changes the contracted lot. FOB, CFR or CIF can be quoted for suitable sea shipments at a named port under Incoterms® 2020. Confirm container or inland handover terms separately. Export readiness depends on lot release and the destination's required inspection, phytosanitary and origin documents.
