Conventional-Profile Sunflower Oil
Zenith Eclipse manufactures sunflower oil with the fatty acid profile and processing finish stated in the contract. A conventional-profile enquiry focuses on oil identity; refining, deodorising and dewaxing are separate production choices.
Quality parameters
Specifications and buying requirements
Illustrative RFQ targets and purchasing requirements, subject to production or supply confirmation and buyer approval. These are not a stock COA or a universal grade. Specify the reporting basis, sampling and test method; the accepted offer defines the final quality and delivery limits. Illustrative RFQ targets below assume a refined conventional-profile order. The fatty acid ranges are Codex identity references, expressed as a percentage of total fatty acids; contract limits and the full batch profile still require agreement.
| Parameter | Indicative RFQ target |
|---|---|
| Processing state | Refined for this example; specify another finish separately |
| Oleic acid, C18:1 | 14.0–43.0% of total fatty acids; identity reference |
| Linoleic acid, C18:2 | 45.4–74.0% of total fatty acids; identity reference |
| Acid value | 0.60 mg KOH/g maximum for the refined example |
| Peroxide value | 5 meq active oxygen/kg maximum as a dispatch target |
| Moisture and volatile matter | 0.10% maximum by agreed method |
| Clarity | Dewaxing and cold-test conditions agreed for the intended market |
| Identity and traceability | Full fatty acid analysis linked to the offered batch |
Applications
Common uses
For formulations and packing programmes specified around conventional sunflower oil. Performance in frying, emulsions or finished foods should be confirmed in the buyer's process. Buying detail: State whether the buyer needs a broad identity check or a narrower formulation range. Do not substitute a mid-oleic or high-oleic lot without written approval, even if the refining finish is identical.
Export planning
Shipping & logistics
Choose compatible food-grade tank delivery, approved flexitanks, drums or IBCs for the confirmed finish. Keep lot identity through loading and export documentation. Quote FOB, CFR or CIF only for suitable sea contracts at named ports, with an appropriate Incoterm agreed for containerised or inland delivery.
