Logistics Control-Tower Coordination
Zenith Eclipse offers control-tower coordination for buyers working with several carriers, brokers, warehouses or delivery partners. The service assembles the agreed shipment events and unresolved actions into a common operating view, supported by an explicit reporting and escalation arrangement.
Scope and responsibilities
Service scope and requirements
Coverage depends on provider cooperation and available data. The scope specifies reporting methods; continuous live tracking or system integration is not assumed.
| Scope item | Requirement or agreed coverage |
|---|---|
| Shipment coverage | Named lanes, orders, modes and providers included in oversight |
| Reference matching | Buyer order linked to booking, container or airwaybill references |
| Event definitions | Planned, estimated and actual milestones kept clearly distinguishable |
| Data source | Responsible provider, update channel and expected reporting frequency |
| Exception threshold | Delay, missing document or handoff condition requiring intervention |
| Decision authority | Named approver for rerouting, expedited movement or additional spend |
| Communication plan | Operating contacts, reporting hours and escalation sequence |
| Closeout evidence | Delivery record, open charges and unresolved-action register |
Best-fit requirements
When to use this service
Appropriate for multi-leg shipments or repeat programs where the buyer retains provider contracts but needs coordinated follow-up across their operational interfaces.
Execution and deliverables
How the work is coordinated
The setup maps each required event to a source and an action owner. Missing or outdated information is flagged separately from a confirmed delay. Exception reports show the affected shipment, next dependency, feasible response and approval required. A coordination record supports decisions but does not replace a carrier’s transport document, a broker’s declaration or the performing party’s contractual responsibility.
Prepare your enquiry
Share the provider list, sample shipment references, required milestones, reporting frequency and present escalation process. State which data can be supplied and who may authorize changes. Identify any integration request separately so access, feasibility and implementation scope can be assessed before commitment.
