Illustrative RFQ targets, subject to lot availability and buyer approval. These are not a stock COA or a universal grade. Agree sampling, test methods, foreign-matter definitions and final acceptance limits before contracting. Example for a two-row brewing-barley enquiry. Protein is on a dry-matter basis using nitrogen × 6.25; distilling and other malt programmes may require different limits.

Applications
Common uses
Converted into malt for brewing, distilling and malt-ingredient production. This enquiry is for raw barley before malting. Buying detail: Request separate results for dormancy or water sensitivity where relevant. Malt extract, diastatic power and wort measurements require a malting trial; grain protein alone cannot establish them.

Shipping & logistics
Review bulk vessel, suitable lined container, big-bag or 50 kg bag options. Segregate varieties and agree handling that protects kernel viability. Lot analysis, origin, transport and required phytosanitary records are confirmed before dispatch. FOB, CFR or CIF can be quoted for suitable sea shipments at a named port under Incoterms® 2020. Container and inland handover terms are confirmed for the route.
