Mechanically Extracted Rapeseed Oil
Our mechanically extracted rapeseed oil production is defined by the pressing route and the finish requested by the buyer. Expeller pressing can involve heat; a mechanical-extraction declaration is not automatically a cold-pressed, virgin or edible-grade claim.
Quality parameters
Specifications and buying requirements
Illustrative RFQ targets and purchasing requirements, subject to production or supply confirmation and buyer approval. These are not a stock COA or a universal grade. Specify the reporting basis, sampling and test method; the accepted offer defines the final quality and delivery limits. Illustrative RFQ for a filtered, unrefined pressed oil. Additional refining changes the purchase specification. Agree process documentation and the analytical limits appropriate to the intended use.
| Parameter | Indicative RFQ target |
|---|---|
| Extraction | Mechanical pressing; obtain a declaration covering solvent use and process segregation |
| Heat history | Declare seed conditioning and applied heat; verify separately if cold-pressed is required |
| Finishing state | Filtered unrefined example; declare any degumming or subsequent refining |
| Acid value | Example: maximum 2.0 mg KOH/g oil |
| Peroxide value at release | Example: maximum 5 meq active oxygen/kg oil |
| Moisture and volatile matter | Example: maximum 0.15% by mass |
| Insoluble impurities | Example: maximum 0.05% by mass for the selected filtered grade |
| Fatty-acid class | Report erucic acid and full profile as % of total fatty acids |
| Food or technical designation | Declare end use, additives and the required release-test panel |
Applications
Common uses
For further refining or approved food and industrial formulations where the extraction route matters to the purchasing brief. Product eligibility follows the complete process, chemistry and end-use documentation. Buying detail: Identify whether your requirement concerns extraction without solvent, absence of applied heat, or a particular flavour. Put each required claim into the contract with its evidence; approving an expeller sample does not verify every process claim.
Export planning
Shipping & logistics
Drums, IBCs and suitable bulk tanks can be assessed for export. Use a documented food-contact chain for edible orders and separate specifications for technical cargo; agree cleanliness, sample retention and destination documents. Appropriate sea routes may be quoted FOB, CFR or CIF at a named port under the stated Incoterms edition.
