Oat groats are kernels with the outer hull removed. Zenith Eclipse handles bulk enquiries for food processors needing intact groats, with heat-treatment status and the intended further processing agreed before quotation.

Technical specifications
Illustrative RFQ targets, subject to lot availability and buyer approval. These are not a stock COA or a universal grade. Agree sampling, test methods, foreign-matter definitions and final acceptance limits before contracting. Example for cleaned food-use groats. Protein is on dry matter using nitrogen × 6.25. Grain test-weight limits for hull-on oats must not be applied to groats.

Applications
Common uses
Processed into cut oats, flakes, flour and cereal ingredients, or used as whole kernels in cooked foods. Buying detail: Specify whether groats will receive further heat treatment at your plant. Stabilization for storage does not, by itself, establish ready-to-eat status or a validated microbial kill step.

Shipping & logistics
Lined 25 kg or 50 kg food-contact bags, big bags or suitable enclosed bulk systems can be considered. Confirm barrier packaging, storage conditions, remaining shelf life, batch COA and destination food documents. FOB, CFR or CIF can be quoted for suitable sea shipments at a named port under Incoterms® 2020. Container and inland handover terms are confirmed for the route.
