Qualified Passive Packaging for Cold Chain
Zenith Eclipse coordinates passive packaging enquiries for temperature-sensitive shipments using an approved insulated pack-out and compatible thermal materials. Selection follows the product owner's requirements, payload and route exposure, with the packaging configuration and preparation responsibility recorded before dispatch.
Scope and responsibilities
Service scope and requirements
Packaging qualification evidence applies to its tested configuration and conditions. The actual transport lane requires a separate suitability review and any necessary validation.

| Product requirement | Owner-approved transport range and restrictions for the named product. |
| Payload definition | Quantity, product mass, dimensions and permitted packing configuration. |
| Qualification evidence | Pack-out reference, tested exposure profile, duration and acceptance criteria. |
| Route exposure | Expected transit, handling and clearance time with agreed delay allowances. |
| Preparation owner | Approved conditioning and packing instructions with a named responsible party. |
| Monitoring plan | Device specification, placement, recording interval and data retrieval responsibility. |
| Special contents | Refrigerants or regulated contents declared for route and carrier acceptance. |
| Receipt procedure | Pack condition, logger retrieval and product-owner hold or release instructions. |
Best-fit requirements
When to use this service
Used for eligible pharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratory or specialty-product shipments where a reviewed passive configuration suits the payload and transport duration.
Execution and deliverables
How the work is coordinated
The coordination plan links the pack-out reference to the shipment and named handlers. Repacking or coolant replenishment is included only where permitted by the approved instructions and supported at the relevant location. An advertised thermal duration is not a product shelf-life guarantee or automatic acceptance of delays.
Prepare your enquiry
Provide the product range, quantity, proposed packaging, qualification records if available, lane, shipment dates and receiving hours. Specify the decision-maker for excursions and required temperature reports. Pharmaceutical WHO guidance is a reference for applicable cargo, not evidence of Zenith Eclipse certification.
