Shelled whole lentils are dehulled lentils with the two cotyledons still joined. For green lentil enquiries, specify the starting class and approve the exposed kernel colour and whole-piece integrity.

Applications
Common uses
Used in prepared meals, soups and food packing where the buyer requires dehulled lentils in whole form. Buying detail: Write 'dehulled, cotyledons joined' in the RFQ. A whole lentil with its seed coat intact is a different presentation; check the delivered sample for residual coat, splits and handling breakage.

Shipping & logistics
Discuss lined 25 kg or 50 kg food bags or suitable big bags. Agree liner, stacking and handling requirements to protect exposed kernels and reduce breakage during transport. FOB, CFR or CIF can be quoted for suitable sea shipments at a named port under Incoterms® 2020. Confirm container or inland handover terms separately. Export readiness depends on lot release and the destination's required inspection, phytosanitary and origin documents.
