Trade-Instrument Readiness
Zenith Eclipse organizes the commercial and operational information needed before your bank and legal advisers review a proposed trade instrument. The output connects contract obligations, shipment dates, document issuers and presentation steps in one transaction-specific checklist.
Scope and responsibilities
Service scope and requirements
Documentary credits, collections and guarantees have different obligations and are not interchangeable. Zenith Eclipse does not issue instruments, provide regulated financial advice or guarantee payment, document authenticity or bank acceptance.
| Scope item | Requirement or agreed coverage |
|---|---|
| Transaction identity | Applicant, beneficiary, counterparties, goods, currency and underlying contract. |
| Instrument brief | Record the instrument requested and questions for the client’s bank. |
| Applicable rules | UCP 600 applies to a credit when it expressly states that it is subject to those rules. |
| Shipment alignment | Compare routing, permitted shipment dates and transport-document availability. |
| Document responsibility | Identify each requested record, issuer, format and preparation owner. |
| Presentation timetable | Track expiry, presentation location and applicable document deadlines. |
| Mismatch register | Flag inconsistent names, quantities, dates or wording for authorized review. |
| Approval record | Keep bank questions, amendments and client decisions version-controlled. |
Best-fit requirements
When to use this service
For importers preparing an instrument request or exporters checking whether their operational documents can meet proposed terms. Readiness work helps expose requirements that cannot be satisfied by the planned shipment.
Execution and deliverables
How the work is coordinated
The engagement starts from the actual draft or provider checklist. We assign document tasks and refer legal interpretation, wording approval and instrument suitability to the appointed professionals. Operational checks are not a bank determination that a presentation complies or that payment will follow.
Prepare your enquiry
Provide the contract, proposed instrument or bank checklist, shipment plan, document list, relevant dates and appointed bank contact. State whether the requirement concerns a new transaction, an amendment or document preparation already underway.
