Your submission is treated as a request for quotation, not a confirmed booking. Capacity, equipment, route, border process and timing remain subject to current railway, terminal, customs and carrier acceptance. The returned proposal will state the quoted basis so competing options can be compared on the same scope.

01Can Zenith Eclipse provide an instant rail freight rate?+
A reliable international rail quotation normally requires station, cargo, equipment and date validation. We can acknowledge the request immediately, but the commercial offer is issued after the relevant operating assumptions have been checked.
02Do I need the official railway station codes?+
Station codes reduce ambiguity because cities may have several terminals with different cargo and equipment capabilities. If you do not know the codes, provide complete origin and destination addresses and any preferred station names.
03Can I submit an RFQ if I do not know the equipment type?+
Yes. Select Not sure—assess from cargo details and provide the commodity, packing, quantity, dimensions, weight, loading method and receiving capability. The proposed equipment remains subject to route and operator acceptance.
04Should I request a container or a railway wagon?+
The appropriate unit depends on cargo form, payload, contamination risk, loading and discharge method, terminal capability and the accepted route. The quotation will identify the proposed equipment basis.
05Can the quotation include door-to-door delivery?+
Yes, where suitable terminals, road carriers and site access are available. Provide both addresses and choose the required scope so pickup, terminal handling, rail carriage, customs and final delivery can be priced separately and clearly.
06What happens when railway gauges change?+
Depending on the route and equipment, the handoff may require container transfer, wagon change, bogie exchange or cargo transload. The applicable location, method, responsibilities and charges are confirmed for the specific quotation.
07Will the shipment use CIM, SMGS or a common consignment note?+
The applicable document depends on the legal regimes, countries and carriers involved. CIM, SMGS or a common CIM/SMGS note may apply where accepted; it should be determined from the actual route rather than selected as a buyer preference.
08Can dangerous, oversized or temperature-sensitive cargo be quoted?+
Eligible cargo can be assessed after receiving its classification, dimensions, weight, packaging, SDS or technical documents and handling requirements. Acceptance depends on applicable rules and the equipment, terminals, railways and route involved.
