Road freight truck transporting commercial cargo on an international route

Truck freight quote

Price the load. Define every handoff.

Request a comparable road freight quote for FTL, LTL, groupage, container drayage or specialist cargo. Provide the packed load, collection and delivery conditions, equipment needs, border scope and dates so our team can assess a feasible option.

Quotation overview

A comparable road-freight rate starts with a comparable brief.

Road freight rates become comparable only when the same cargo, route, equipment and delivery scope are priced. A city pair and total weight do not show whether the shipment requires dedicated capacity, consolidation, container drayage, temperature control, specialist equipment or border formalities.

Zenith Eclipse reviews the brief against feasible carrier capacity, legal payload and route constraints, facility access, documents and requested milestones. The resulting proposal states its assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, estimated timing, waiting-time basis and chargeable exceptions. Equipment, capacity and schedules remain subject to operating-carrier and regulatory acceptance.

Build a usable RFQ

Match the vehicle to the packed load and both facilities.

A complete load schedule, site-access brief and border scope help the team assess equipment fit before requesting operating capacity.

Quotation FAQs

Answers to check before you submit.

01What information is required for a truck freight quote?+

Provide full collection and delivery addresses, cargo description, piece count, packed dimensions, total and unit weights, packaging, service type, dates, site conditions and any customs, dangerous-goods or temperature requirements.

02What is the difference between FTL, LTL and groupage?+

FTL normally assigns dedicated vehicle capacity to one shipment. LTL and groupage use shared capacity and may include consolidation or terminal handoffs. The suitable basis depends on shipment size, transfer tolerance, timing, route and handling risk.

03Can I request container drayage through this form?+

Yes. Select container drayage and provide the port, terminal or rail ramp, container size and type, import or export status, release timing, gross weight, free-time information and empty-return requirement when known.

04How is the vehicle or trailer selected?+

Equipment is reviewed against packed dimensions, weight and distribution, loading method, temperature or regulatory status, site access and route limits. A requested equipment type is not confirmed until a suitable operating carrier accepts the movement.

05Can Zenith Eclipse coordinate cross-border trucking and customs?+

Eligible movements can be reviewed against carrier permissions, border procedures, customs or transit responsibilities and destination rules. Final feasibility depends on the countries, cargo, documents, authorities and available capacity.

06Can dangerous goods or temperature-controlled cargo be quoted?+

Eligible cargo can be assessed after complete disclosure. Dangerous goods require classification and supporting transport information. Temperature-sensitive cargo requires the approved range, monitoring, preconditioning and excursion instructions.

07Is the requested delivery date guaranteed?+

No blanket guarantee is made. The proposal states the planned collection, transit and delivery basis, including relevant assumptions. Border processing, regulatory action, weather, road conditions, appointments and other external events can affect timing.

08What will the quotation and POD scope include?+

The proposal identifies the transport basis, equipment assumption, included services, customs responsibility, waiting-time terms, accessorials, estimated milestones and requested POD evidence. Signed, stamped, electronic, photographic, seal or temperature records must be requested before booking.
